The New Zealand Tattoo and Art Festival will be held at the TBS Stadium in New Plymouth for the 5th year running, and Sunset Tattoo will be there. The festival is being held this year on the weekend of the 28th & 29th November, and our three artists, Tom McMilian, Jacob Cross and Fabian Bidart, will all be taking pre-bookings and walk-ups.
In only five short years, the festival has become Australasia’s biggest tattoo show, with over 250 artists and models attending. Some of those appearing include winner of reality TV show Best Ink Teresa Sharpe, LA Ink star Dan Smith, American horror realism artist Paul Acker, Swedish tattoo artist and model Cleo Wattenstrom, Grandfather of tattooing Lyle Tuttle, Khan from Korea, Tahitianartist Manu Farrarons, lettering tattooer Big Meas, dot work specialist Dillon Forte, American black and grey masters Carl Grace & Danny Lepore, Dave Tevenal, Davee from Poland, and many, many more.
This year’s festival will have more entertainment than ever before! With feature shows by London fire dancer Cervena Fox, Raquel Reed from New York, Venus Starr & Bonita Danger Doll & the Strawberry Siren, Freestyle Motocross & BMX shows, live music including Tiki Taane, City of Souls & silence the City, ALC Ramp Riot mini ramp skate comp, Tattoo Competitions, retail stalls, food vendors, café & bar plus much more!
